Promotion Summary

Gong cha (the “Promoter”) together with Universal Pictures International New Zealand Limited (the “Sponsor” or “UPINZ”), are giving customers a chance to ‘Sip Scan and be in to Win’ tickets to see Wicked in cinemas or a chance to win a private screening of Wicked: For Good.

Competition Terms and Conditions

HOW TO ENTER

1. The contest starts on Tuesday 4th November 2025 and ends at 9 pm on Friday 21st November 2025. (“Giveaway Period”).
2. Purchase 1 or more Wicked: For Good-themed drinks at any Gong cha in New Zealand
3. Scan the QR Code on the promotional assets online or in-stores
4. Fill up the digital form and upload a receipt of your Wicked: For Good-themed drinks
5. Follow @gongcha_nz and @universalpicturesnz and post on your story for an extra entry in the draw!

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to enter the Promotion and win a Prize, participants must be:

1. 18 years of age or older;
2. a New Zealand resident or live in New Zealand;
3. eligible under the Promoter’s Standard Promotion or Competition Rules below.
4. Accept that any photos may be shared on our social media
5. Submit a photo that displays at least 2 of our Wicked-themed drinks with their bestie on Instagram and tag @Gongcha_NZ & @universalpicturesnz

PRIZES

1. There is one (1) major prize, and twenty (20) runner-up prizes to be won.
1. The Grand prize: A private screening of Wicked: For Good for up to 20 people to be held in the winner’s hometown or the nearest available cinema. The private screening prize must be taken by Friday 28 February 2026, subject to the availability of a cinema in the winner’s hometown or the nearest available cinema. Note that this screening will happen after the release of the movie to the public in NZ.

Block-out dates apply: Monday 25th December 2025 – Sunday 5 January 2026.

1. Additional terms and conditions may be imposed by the individual cinema.
2. Any additional costs (such as, but not limited to food & beverage, accommodation or transport) is not included in the private screening prize.
3. The winner and guests are responsible for complying with the relevant cinema’s conditions of entry. Prizes are personal to the winners and can’t be transferred to someone else. If the winner can’t accept the prize for any reason (e.g. the winner can’t attend during the relevant dates), the Promoter can award the prize to another winner. Prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be exchanged for cash.

1. The runner-up prize: One runner-up prize consisting of 2x spa vouchers (one for each of the winner & a friend) to enjoy a Magical Spa Day. Subject to the availability of a spa in the winner’s hometown or nearest available spa.
1. The winner and guests are responsible for arranging their transport to and from the spa location. All additional costs that are not explicitly included in this prize description (for example, but not limited to, transport/accommodation) are the sole responsibility of the competition winner.
2. Additional terms and conditions may be imposed by the individual spa provider, such as terms and conditions of entry.

1. The Consolation prizes: 20x In-season passes to see Wicked that can be used at any participating New Zealand cinema that is playing the film.
   The double movie pass prize consists of movie tickets for two to see the movie only.
1. Additional terms and conditions may be imposed by the individual cinema.
2. Any additional costs (such as, but not limited to food & beverage, accommodation or transport) is not included in the movie pass prize. The double movie pass will be supplied digitally to the contact details provided by the winner. It is it the winner’s obligation to ensure the contact details provided for this purpose are correct.
3. The winner and guest(s) are responsible for complying with the relevant cinema’s conditions of entry. Prizes are personal to the winners and can’t be transferred to someone else. If the winner can’t accept the prize for any reason (e.g. the winner can’t attend during the relevant dates), the Promoter can award the prize to another winner. Prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be exchanged for cash.

1. The Promoter will collect and hold personal information provided by you when you enter this Promotion, for the purposes of this Promotion and for future promotional purposes. If you are a winner, the Promoter will pass your personal information to third parties, including the Sponsor (or its promotions agency Moving Light Communications), for the purpose of prize fulfillment. Failure to provide personal information when requested may disqualify you from entering the Promotion or being able to receive a prize.

1. You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal information (where such information is readily retrievable) by contacting the Promoter.
2. The winner may be required to prove their identity and age, and show evidence as documented on their driver’s license, passport or birth certificate before any prize is awarded.

The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

How are we picking the winners?

1. All eligible entries will be entered into a random generator where the first will receive the private screening, and the following 20 winners will receive double passes to see Wicked: For Good.
2. Winners will be announced on @Gongcha_nz Instagram on Tuesday 25th November 2025.

Other Terms & Conditions:

1. Gong cha New Zealand, (the “Promoter”), is the Promotor of this competition.
2. Universal Pictures International NZ Ltd (the “Prize Provider”), is the Prize Provider of the Major and Minor Movie Prizes.
3. Gong cha New Zealand reserves all rights in making the final decision.
4. These Terms and Conditions (including the Promotion Period) may be amended and the Promotion terminated at any time by the Promoter.
5. The Promoter’s decisions on all entry and promotion matters are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

UNIVERSAL PICTURES PRIZE TERMS AND CONDITIONS (MOVIE PRIZE):

1. The Movie Prize is provided by and in association with Universal Pictures International New Zealand Limited (UPINZ) for the purposes of marketing and licensing for the movie Wicked.
2. The Promoter may pass on the winner’s details to UPINZ’s Promotions Agency, Moving Light Communications, for the purposes of fulfilling the Private Screening and Movie Pass Prizes.
3. ‘UPINZ’ means Universal Pictures International New Zealand Limited and all companies in the UPINZ Group and all brands and operating companies controlled by or associated with those entities.
4. UPINZ will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by Entrants or anyone else as a result of, arising out of, or in any way connected with the Promotion or its Prizes.

Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

If the Winner does not accept these Terms and Conditions the prize will be forfeited.
